Toe fungus?
can you order that lamisil or whoever you spell it offline? I need pills cause the cream didn’t do anything but break off the first layer or toe nail. Its that commercial where the green guy is pretending to be on the toe.

I’m sure you can find it online if you search for it on Google, but I’ll let you know that it may not work. I’ve had toe fungus for years and nothing makes it go away! I went to a dermatologist and he said more than half of the cases are incurable.

Nancy asks…
How do you get rid of toe fungus?
I have toe fungus probably to it’s farthest extent. Is there any treatment at this point that can make it look back to normal? Or are there operations/surgeries or anything doctors can do to make it look like new again? Don’t they do that kind of stuff w/ teeth? Surgically put in new fake ones?

As Silk mentions, the oral anti-fungals have been the best way to go at about 67% effectiveness.
There is a new laser procedure called the Pinpointe Foot Laser. You can find out more about it at www.pinpointefootlaser.com

I walk alot which has caused ONE foot to have toe(nail) fungus and athlete’s foot. How can I get rid of it?it’s really not that bad, it just has a really rough layer. It’s not yellow or brown, it has the appearance of a scratched/ rough toenail. It’s still a white/clearish color. Any home remedies? Thank you! I REALLY appreciate it!

Personally, I’ve tried a lot of different stuff over the years. I had dealt with the combo nail fungus and athletes foot for almost 20 years. One “free” thing that did help a lot was vinegar.
It didn’t help much with the nail fungus but it completely stopped the athlete’s foot that I was also suffering from.
For the fungus I tried a lot of different things, including over the counter treatments, vinegar, bleach, tea tree oil, vicks and lavendar oil. Some of them did make a little difference but none of them completely killed the fungus.
I also tried lamisil which worked for a while then after a couple of months I had a relapse of the nail fungus. The scary thing with the lamisil is the possible health issues you can face as a result of using it, the doctor had me take a test to make sure my liver wasn’t prone to problems before he’d give me the lamisil… Gulp!
In the end what finally fixed my loong term problem with nail fungus was Zeta Clear. I think what also helped is that I made it a part of my daily ritual to use it.
Another thing that I did that probably helped was throw out my old shoes. I have heard that the fungus can live in your shoes and return after treatment. So to avoid a relapse I made sure to get new shoes and throw out the old ones.
Best of Luck!
Oh, and I put the link to an article that has a some pretty interesting info on toenail fungus and the different treatments you can use, if you wanna check it out.
