What food items are a strict No-No and what would help the cause. What should be avoided (veg, non-veg, which fruits are not good, etc ) and what should be taken to reduce the problem.

If you are getting frequent attacks your doctor should have prescribed a medication such as Lisinopril (or are you already on a prescribed med?) to reduce the uric acid being produced in your system.

can any body tell me about how to treat the gout. what should be prevention and diet please help me friends

Ive got it a couple of times,and the only thing that gives fast relief is to eat a boat load of cherries,and drink cherry juice.the swelling will be half size the next day,and you can walk on it. When i have gotten gout,it was after eating very large steak dinners,probably should limit red meat if you are gout prone. Also heard alcohol doesnt help either.prescribed meds are too slow.
