Your Questions About Gout Diet

Robert asks…

What meats are recommended for a Gout diet?

I am tired of chicken, I need help in getting a good menu.

admin answers:

You can have red meat occasionally, just try to keep it to once or twice a week. Pork is fine, again just only have it once or twice a week. Try to skip a day every once in a while without any meat at all. Have some fish in there too.

Mandy asks…

I need some gout diet advice or home remedies to help me treat my gout.?

I would like to know what foods trigger gout or what natural gout treatments are available so I can avoid medication.

admin answers:

For years I suffered from gout to the point that I was often unable to walk! The most important thing you can do to treat your gout is to change your diet. I found cherry juice and baking soda useful, but different things work for different people. I struggled with finding enough information on various blogs, mailing lists and forums until I found this resource below. It contained everything I needed to remedy my gout at home without expensive drugs. I recommend you check it out as soon as possible.

Charles asks…

Are soy based products okay for a gout diet?

Like veggies burgers. soy burgers, soy hot dogs, soy milk, I did notice some contain mushrooms so I understand to avoid those.

admin answers:

My family is gluten free and soy free due to the fact the soy causes cancer and many other problems like corn. This is because our bodies are exposed to genetically modified soy so often due to the fact that is is in 98% of things we buy at the supermarket like corn. Corn in its natural form is okay but soy still is not good for you. You can eat soy, but try not to eat it all the time because it is not good for you.
