have you ever had a burning sensation in your toe?
It’s the tip of my left big toe. Not in the normal area of gout. I’m not overweight and I’m only 28 so I don’t know what it could be. No injury there or anything. ever heard of this? Could it be a blood clot?

Ken asks…
Im 69 years old and just got rid of a case of GOUT in my big toe …. I bin on MEDS for 2 weeks how much lo
how long should I stay on the MEDS ????

admin answers:
There are three meds used. Colchicine (short term), indomethacin , (short term).. Used for inflammation and getting rid or uric acid, and allopurinol, this med should be long term. It will keep acid level down to keep boughts from happening. Avoid wine and cheese because these will increase uric acid in body. Good luck , JJ the pharmacist.

Jenny asks…
What should I do about my toe?
Ever since i tried to punt a ball up my steps and accidentally kicked the step instead of the ball my toe has felt still like I need to crack it.I can bend it but not as much as the other one.Its my big toe.I’ve heard about this one thing called gout i think. What is it and what should i do?
It happened like 3months ago

admin answers:
You toe is inflamed from the impact. Give it time to heal. Feeling like it needs to crack is because the joint is swollen. Gout is a build up of Uremic crystals in the joint and it doesn’t sound like the issue here.
